One of the most memorable innings in the history of cricket is the 400 run knock by Lara against England in the final test. In 1994 Lara went on to make history when he scored a massive 375 in the first innings against England. It was the then highest score in a test innings. In 2003 Mathew Hayden broke the record when he made a wonderful 380 against Zimbabwe. A few months later history was re written by Lara when he scored his unbeaten 400.
