Rahul Dravid son of Sharad Dravid and Pushpa Dravid was born on January 11, 1973 in Indore. He was one of the two sons to his parents the other being Vijay Dravid. The game of cricket runs in Dravid's family. His father has played the game and his uncle, K.V dravid played for the Holkars. Dravid started playing cricket at the age of 10 in the streets of Bangalore along with his friends and till now his passion for the game has increased many folds.
One of his favorite past times is listening to old hindi songs. He loves traveling and likes to see different places. He loves nature and is very much interested in watching wildlife programs in television.
